WELL PLANNED (TIMED) ACTION

Posted on July 23, 2008 by Mr. Haris Alibaši?

BOSANSKI

All the media in Balkans and around the world have reported that Radovan Karadzic, before his arrest, was hiding under false identity under the name Dragan Dabic, and that he had a long beard, and how difficult it was to recognize him from the pictures from his more famous earlier period. Excuse my suspicion, but something is not right with that picture. This is a well planned action, well coordinated to the finest details and it is related to some other strategic goals beyond the capture of the notorious war criminal Radovan Karadzic. One must not forget that secret service from Serbia and others who have special interest in Balkans are capable to direct such an action.

All the previous attempts in search for Karadzic by SFOR-, EUFOR, and other foreign military, intelligence, police services in Bosnia have been made in Republika Srpska, a smaller of Bosnian entity , created in Dayton. Suddenly, as if by accident, they found the runaway who has been in hiding for 13 years nowhere else but in Belgrade. This is all well directed so the higher goals of Europe, western powers and NATO can be satisfied.

This gave the chance to Prime Minister of the RS to say how unnecessary were the pressures on the government of the RS related to searches for Radovan Karadzic and his surrender. So this way, someone is trying to get the responsibility for hiding the war criminal off of the back the government of RS. Dodik has made the statement “the government of RS sees the arrest of Karadzic as one of the last steps towards fulfilling its obligations towards the International War Crimes tribunal for Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) and prosecuting of all those who were accused of the war crimes.”

Arrest them!!!

Belgrade and Serbia have been on the receiving end of praises from the centers of powers in the world for its courage and wittiness because they have arrested the war criminal who was so successful in hiding in plain sight for 13 years. The European Union can finally say that Serbia is on the right path, meeting the conditions for its membership in the EU, which gives them a chance to continue negotiations for memberships of Serbia in the EU. This can bee seen in the statements made by the former High Representative for Bosnia, Wolfgang Petrich, who said that “by arresting Karadzic Serbia has removed one big brick which divides it from EU” and in the statements of the representatives of Holland government who said they insisted Serbia arrests all the war criminals before it can be eligible to sign any agreements with EU. Long term stable Serbia is in the interest of Bosnia and Europe. Proof of the genocide and war crimes committed by Karadzic and eventually of Ratko Mladic, will open the doors to Bosnia for unification and dissolution of entities.

Maybe Karadzic was hiding in Serbia the whole time, maybe he wasn’t. We do know that his arrest is well timed so the other questions can be resolved: Serbian EU membership, satisfying the request of the USA for arrest of war criminals by Serbia, finding a solution to the question of Kosovo and the Balkans in general, and the testing of the new Serbian government. The truth will come out, sooner or later. Hopefully, the Serbian government will soon arrest Ratko Mladic, as well as the other war criminals, so they can be brought to justice as well.
