SARAJEVO, July 10 (FENA) – The American Ambassador for War Crimes Mr. John Clint Williamson met the President of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina Meddžida Kreso today. During the discussion Ambassador Williamson expressed strong support for the work of the Court of BiH and efforts made in the processing of war crimes cases.
In this regard Ambassador Williamson supported the extension of the mandate of the international judges who have made a great contribution to the work of the Court of BiH. The United States of America will continue following the work of the Court of BiH and supporting the processing of the war crimes cases, Ambassador Wiliamson pointed out during the meeting.
The President of the Court of BiH Meddžida Kreso informed Ambassador Williamson of the current situation in the BiH judiciary and difficulties the Court is facing in its work. On behalf of the Court of BiH President Kreso thanked Ambassador Williamson and the Government of the United States of America for the great support it has been continuously lending to the Court of BiH since it was established to date.
