THE LAMENT FOR SREBRENICA
Will start at 1:30pm by laying a flowers before the Bosnian Commemoration Plaque at the Migration Museum, 82 Kintore Avenue, Adelaide
Followed by a Procession - a walk through a symbolic graveyard layout at the Torrens Parade Ground Garden-Karawira Park 12.
Performance at the Torrens Parade Drill Hall - Multicultural Musical Program as detailed below..
Very significant historical events shaped Bosnian background South Australians and while it is important to remember it, it is also important to share it with other people and to reflect on the new opportunities for Bosnian people, their lives and achievements in Australia.

is an artistic theatrical poet and musical performance to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide that took place in Bosnia and Herzegovina on the 11th July 1995.
The program is aimed to bring together wider South Australian community and will include:
1:30pm - Migration Museum
TRIBUTE - Laying a flowers before the Bosnian Commemoration Plaque at the Memorial Wall
1:45pm - Torrens Parade Ground Garden Karawira Park 12
PROCESSION - A short walk from Migration Museum through Torrens Parade Garden along to 8,372 symbolic gravestones with names of victims of the Srebrenica genocide
2:00pm - 3:00pm Torens Parade Drill Hall
OPENING - Kur’an recitation by Imam Ismet Purdic
WELCOME TO COUNTRY - Aboriginal song by traditional artists
