Emir Hadzikadunic, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Islamic Republic of Iran earlier today attended the meeting with Mohammad Parsa, Director General of SUNIR (www.sunir.com) and its senior management. The meeting was held on the premises of this important Iranian electro-energetic consortium
Ambassador Hadzikadunic used the opportunity to present the investment opportunities in BiH with special reference to energy projects promoted at the Sarajevo Business Forum in April, 2010.
Management of the Consortium is particularly interested to invest in hydro energy projects in BiH by utilizing the credit line of up to 150 million Euros that the Iranians offered to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Projects finances would be secured by the Investment Bank of Iran.
Iranians are also interested in forming joint venture companies with their counterparts in Bosnia in energy field with the intention to work in concert with their Bosnian partners in the Middle eastern markets.
SUNIR has so far established its presence in 38 countries. Iranian partners are also willing to invest in the prototypes of turbine flowmeters of 850 type (solid fuels) designed in BiH.
Representatives of SUNIR have recently participated in the first meeting of the joint trade committee of BiH and Iran held in the first half of 2010.
SUNIR managers announced their participation in the next joint committee meeting expected to be held in Tehran next year. They also plan to participate at the Sarajevo Business Forum 2011.
Concluding the meeting with ambassador Hadzikadunic Mr. Parsa expressed his satisfaction regarding the cooperation with Energoinvest and Petrolinvest firms from BiH.
