FIVE BODIES FOUND IN KAKANJ COAL MINE

Having found the remains of a corpse on Sunday at the location of Vrtliste, in the Kakanj Coal Mine, investigators from the Zenica – Doboj canton Institute for Missing Persons found on Tuesday the remains of at least another five bodies.

Since all the findings are the fragmented parts of clothing, the investigators could not state if the exhumed remains are soldiers or civilians.

”The preliminary reports announced by court expert Sabiha Brkic – Silajdzic, MD, the remains of at least five persons have been found. One cannot state if the bones found belong to the persons who died in the past war, that in the period from 1992 to 1995”, Radzo Delic, MD, Deputy Cantonal Prosecutor at the Zenica – Doboj Canton Prosecutor’s Office stated.

FENA found out that the Zenica – Doboj Canton Prosecutor’s Office did not have any data on if a mass grave is located at the site.
