DUBLIN, May 21 (FENA) – Members of the Commission for Mine Clearance of BiH are participating in the diplomatic conference on cartridge ammunition held from May 19 to 30 in Dublin, Ireland.

The goal of the conference is the adjustment of the final text of future international legal act, that is a convention against the usage, storage, transport and production of cartridge ammunition and cleaning of explosive parts of cartridge ammunition.

128 state delegations are participating in this conference out of which 19 of them have the observer status and there are more than 280 representatives of civil society and NGOs from 64 countries.

The Convention will be adopted at the conference and it will carry a huge importance for BiH which has problems with mines and explosive leftovers of cartridge ammunition.
