On Wednesday, September 2, the New York chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-NY) will join community members at the Second Annual Iftar Dinner hosted by Manhattan Borough President Scott M. Stringer.
This year’s honorees include Jerrilynn Dodds, Dean of the College of Sarah Lawrence College and author of “New York Masjid: The Mosques of New York Cityâ€; Edward Grazda, documentary photographer and author of “New York Masjid: The Mosques of New York Cityâ€; the Islamic Center at NYU, Council Member Robert Jackson; and Professor Asha A. Samad from the City University of NY.
