Reisu-l-ulema of the Islamic Community of Bosnia Mustafa CeriÄ‡ is arriving on a three-day visit to Kosovo.
He was invited by his counterpart in the province, Mufti Naim Trnava.
This is the first such visit since the Kosovo Albanians unilaterally declared independence, and since the arrival of the international administration.
CeriÄ‡ arrives along with Muamer ZukorliÄ‡, who heads one of the two Islamic communities in Serbia.
CeriÄ‡ is also scheduled to meet with Kosovo President Fatmir Sjediu.
There are some 50,000 Bosniaks living in Kosovo, most in the municipalities of Prizren, Kosovska Mitrovica and DragaÅ¡.
