BiH – EU: SIGNING OF SAA HAS BEEN POSTPONED FOR THREE YEARS

Posted on March 13, 2008 by Fena

The more police reform laws are postponed, the more time it will take for BiH to sign SAA. This was stated on Thursday in an interview to FRNA Agency by a European official in Sarajevo.

This official, who wanted to remain anonymous, stated that “we have been witnesses to this postponement for three years”.

BiH Parliamentary Assembly’s Joint Commission for Defence and Safety did not support at a session on Wednesday two bills related to police reform.

The FENA Agency source emphasized that the procedure of singing the SAA will be initiated immediately after the adoption of the police reform laws. However, there is not a single date made precise in relation to singing of the Agreement.
